Linux-HA

This directory contains official packages of heartbeat and unofficail packages of its dependancies. These are built from the code released on linux-ha.org as part of the Linux-HA Project. They should work with Ultra Monkey but are not specific to that project. This is one of the ways that Ultra Monkey contributes to the Linux-HA Project.

Package Versions

Packages in the stable.latest is a link to the latest stable release, currently 2.0.2. This is recomended for production.
Packages in the 2.0.2 directory are for the stable release. This is recomended for production.
Packages in the 2.0.1 directory are for a previous 2.0 release. These are here as a historical archive.
Packages in the 2.0.0 directory are for a previous 2.0 release. These are here as a historical archive.
Packages in the 1.2.3 directory are for the old-stable release. This is recomended for production.
Packages in the 1.2.3.cvs.20050927 directoriy are a snapshot from the 1.2 old-stable CVS tree. previous stable release. This is recomended for production.
Packages in the 1.0.4 directory are for the an older old stable release. These are here as a historical archive.

Note Package Availability

Debian Unstable (Sid)/ Testing (Etch) contains heartbeat (1.2.X) and hearbeat-2 (2.0.X) packages.
In time the heartbeat packages will become 2.0.X and hearbeat-2 will be removed.

Debian Stable (Sarge) contains heartbeat (1.2.X). An updated heartbeat and new heartbeat-2 package for sarge is planned for inclusion on Backports.Org.

An ancient 1.0.4 version of heartbeat is available in Woody. It is not recommended that people use this package.
Heartbeat packages intended for use with Ultra Monkey 3 are in Ultra Monkey 3 the Ultra Monkey 3 download directory.
Heartbeat packages intended for use with Ultra Monkey 2.0.1 are in the Ultra Monkey 2.0.1 download directory.
