Thunderbird is an excellent email client from Mozilla. It is not as well recognised as Firefox, but it is probably one of the best email clients available for Linux. It works on both Windows and Linux. You can send and receive emails, search the email database, apply filters, and install extensions. Popular email services such as mail.ru are supported by default, you only need to enter your username and password.
